Re: What is my correct load 7961 "file" for a sip phone?

The recommended firmware versions are listed in the following document for CME 7.0(1).

Re: What is my correct load 7961 "file" for a sip phone?

thank you for your response.

I had referenced the document that you pointed me to, but with no luck.  The files that are needed for a sip 7961 are in flash, however, my question is which file do I reference under voice register global.

Example:

voice register global

mode cme

max-pool 20

max-dn 40

source-address 10.1.1.1

load 7961 "xxxx"*****************************this is where I have a question.

tftp-path flash:

upgrade authenticate register

create profile

Re: What is my correct load 7961 "file" for a sip phone?

The documentation explicitly states which file to reference.

" When configuring the load command for IP phones such as the Cisco Unified IP Phone 7906G, 7911G, 7941G,   7941GE, 7961G, 7961GE, 7970G, and 7971G, configure only the filenames that   are marked with an asterisk (*) in the table below."

For the 7961, using SIP firmware, that would be "SIP41.8-3-3S.loads"

Re: What is my correct load 7961 "file" for a sip phone?

Looks like 638      7941-7961-sip/SIP41.8-4-2S.loads is the latest greatest load file you have.

Re: What is my correct load 7961 "file" for a sip phone?

I'll give it a try.  I  wonder if I'm using the wrong format or syntax.  i'll try it and let you know.  Thanks.
