which has priority: external mask on DN or Route Pattern?

Anyone know which has highest priority in config of "calling party transform mask", Directory number or Route Pattern? if I had two different numbers in each, which would take precedence? Thanks.

The route pattern would have priority as this is the hop between the source and destination.

Hope that helps.

Re: which has priority: external mask on DN or Route Pattern?

There is nothing such as Priority here. Phone's External Phone number mask would only be used if the box next to "Use Phones External Mask" is checked. Incase this is checked it will always use the Phone's Mask and if this is not checked then the configuration from the Route Pattern would be used. Also, keep in mind that if this is not checked and you use a pattern such as 800200XXXX, X would be replaced by the Phone DN. So if you have 4 digit DN pattern, then you should use 4 'X' and so on.

Hi!

Maybe this info helps you:

1. External Phone Number Mask on calling device.

2. Translation Pattern.

3. Route Pattern.

4. Route List using Route Group details.

5. Transformation on the terminating device.

From IPTT guide.
