Why do we have to "edit dial" in this day and age?

Is anyone else out there sick of having to hit "EditDail" in their "Missed Calls" log to add "91" in front of an external call? It seems to me that this would be a pretty easy thing to fix and that it would be very useful.

FYI, I am in the middle of an implementation where I am replacing Avaya IP Phones, and the Avaya 4621 phones were smart enough to be able to do this.
