Why is Attendant Console being Discontinued?

Anyone know why Cisco is discontinuing Attendant Console and what if anything will be replacing it?

I wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement about AC coming soon from Cisco. They have come out with two new models for smaller deployments and have partnered with Arc Solutions for larger Enterprise deployments.

Thank you for the info Rob; ya it didn't make much sense for them to drop it unless they replaced it with something better but i noticed (although it can be configured still)it isn't an available application to download in CUCM 7, only IPMA. Thanks again, as with all your other posts good info :)

Just to add, the console is only discontinued when you install a fresh 7 not when you do the upgrade or at least I`ve been told this
