Just curious to know how does WATS work and if it can be integrated into Cisco CallManager.
I do not see why not, just can figure out how.
Thanks,
Carlos

Hi Carlos,
WATS or Toll-Free services can be easily used with CCM. Because the Toll-Free translation is done by the Service Provider (Telco) it is pretty straight forward. Here is an example;
Say your main Sales Dept. is AAA-BBB-CCCC and you want to add WATS service for your distant customers to call in without paying Long Distance charges. Contact your Provider and order a new Toll-free number and indicate that you need it to Term on AAA-BBB-CCCC (Sales). No additional config would be required on CCM as the Sales Dept. number is in place already. When the new WATS number is in place calls to it will be automatically routed to AAA-BBB-CCCC.
Hope this helps!

Simpler than I thought. I appreciate the response.
