Windows 2008 Domain controllers and CM4.2

We are in the process of moving our Domain Controllers from Windows 2003 OS to Windows 2008 OS.

Would anyone know if there would be any issues on Call manager and Unity servers, if we changed it from Windows 2000 Mixed to Windows 2003 Native Forest Level Change in Active Directory

Would Unified messaging wouldn't be compromised in terms of functionality?

Isn't windows 2008 still in Beta?

Not sure I would be using a beta version of an OS in a production network, but good luck with that!!
