Hi,
Got a user who is running Windows 7 and most times when she starts up windows it gets a BSOD with the following message :-
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000000a (0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000002, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffff80002a8dd75)
I have looked at the crashdump file and it complains about CipcCdp.sys (CipcCdp+1bfa) which is related to IP Communicator. The program works fine it is just getting the BSOD on starting windows and it will a few attemps before the machine will boot up.
Any ideas on how to fix this please ?

What is the complete CIPC 7 version ?
Is Win 7 32-bit or 64-bit ?

64 bit version
I have just seen version IPC 7.0.5 which we are now allowed to use internally here. I have uninstalled the old version, rebooted and just installed this one. Will see if this fixes the issue.

Hi Jane
From the release notes
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cipc/7_0/english/release/notes/CIPC70_RN.html#wp101946
There seem to be a couple bugs related to BSOD
CSCth98807 supposedly fixed in 7.0.5
CSCtj30856 supposedly fixed in 7.0.6.9
It may be better to upgrade to the latest version which today is
8.6.1
Regards
Alex
