we have the following wifi scenario to cover a huge building:
- 75 AP (55 AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9 and 25 AIR-CAP2602I-E-K9) under WLC 5508 with 7.3 image - Global configuration of Rf channel and TX power level Assignment - SSID for phone with CCKM and LEAP authentication - CP-7921G-E-K9 phones with 1.4.2 firmware - CUCM with 188.8.131.520-13 version
In this network I have many problems, the phone are associated correctly, but during the call, also if I don't move, many times I don't hear my interlocutor and the call goes down. The cover seems good above all to 2.4GHz.
Moreover I have noticed an unexpected behaviour of my 7921-phones: frequently during the call , I don't hear my interlocutor and I see the following warning on display:
"The credential is incorrect. Change the password?"
but the call is still up.
Instead if I push YES, I usually don't have problem and hear again my interlocutor; if i push NO, I lose the connection to entire network.
Why do I have this warning, since no change is done?Could it depend on APs? But these are all under the same WLC and have same configuration.
In general, maybe are there too APs, given that some AP have 6 as power level (this is Global)?
