 Dear Peter,

      Thank you for such a knowledgeable community.

My question is :

  • I have got a /48 IPv6 pool from APNIC ,say 2xxx:0xx1:X000::/48
  • I am using the same IP address at my DC.
  • Now , I want to use the same pool at my DR , please guide me what are the steps.

My next question is :

  • Can I use the same AS number at my DR ??
  • Can a single AS number be advertised at two different ISP's ???

"Now , I want to use the same pool at my DR , please guide me what are the steps."

Not sure how that is going to work having the same prefix advertised in two different locations at the same time. That is unless the DR site is "cold" or is completely physically and logically isolated from the DC and any other parts of your network. Alternatively you could split the prefix in half and use half in one location and half in the other.

"Can I use the same AS number at my DR ??"

- Yes

"Can a single AS number be advertised at two different ISP's ???"

- Yes, if the AS is a public AS.
