We're currently piloting Jabber and are looking at presenting the Jabber client thinly with App-V or ThinApp - has anyone been successful in doing so?
I have the client presented to some users, but we are seeing some different behaviour. On an App-V presented Jabber client we would receive a user name / password error and on the same workstation, launching a locally installed Jabber client the login is successful with the same user name / password that failed on the App-V presented client.
I have also seen where the File and Help menus are not available, making the client kick into a loop of asking if you want to login as another user.
We're using a hosted solution from a 3rd party, not sure if that would affect our client behaviour.
