Cisco Jabber for Android - Webex (CWMS) Interop issue
We are using:
Jabber for Windows 9.6.1 Jabber for Android 22.214.171.124028 CUCM 9.1.1 IM & P 9.1.1
We are running Cisco Jabber for Android on a Samsung Galaxy S4 on our internal wireless network. We begin a chat from our Jabber for Android client (User: Test1) to a Jabber for Windows client (User Test2). From the chat window we escalate this to a webex session. In our case it is Webex On-Premise (version 126.96.36.199.B-AE)
Issue 1 The Jabber for Windows alerts about the new meeting and we click on "Join". The browser starts to launch on the PC and then displays our webex site with "This site is under maintenance"
Using the Webex client on the same Samsung Galaxy S4 to create a meeting to the same Jabber for Windows client does NOT create the same issue. Using a different Jabber for Windows client, escalating to Webex from Chat, to the same Jabber for Windows client does NOT create the same issue
Issue 2 Creating a "Instant Webex Meeting" from the Jabber for Windows client to the Jabber for Android client, we press "Join" The Jabber for Android client seems to launch Webex and displays "Incorrect password Check your meeting information and try again" You can access the meeting from the Jabber for Android client if you know and enter Test2's meeting password. If Test2 sends a reminder to Test1, you can access the meeting from Webex on the Android device without being prompted for a password.
Issue 3 When sending from Jabber/Webex for Android a reminder for a meeting to invitees, it tries to send to the Jabber ID of the invitee. e.g. email@example.com as opposed to the mail ID/email address. This obviously causes a Mail delivery issue alert in your mailbox and the invitee never receives the reminder notice. Sending the reminder via email works without an issue.
Is anyone else experiencing these issues or are they known bugs?

The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
