Cisco Jabber for iPad, TMS not needed? :- Mobile Remote Access

Hi

Appreciate if anyone can help me out on my doubts in regards to Jabber for Ipad

My objective is simple: that is to use Jabber on the iPad to make video calls

 

Previously i had a working setup of VCS architecture that requires me to install TMS,TMPE just to provision the IPAD to make video calls to my devices registered to the VCS

Now that there's the version8.1 & above that has the Mobile Remote Access feature


Question is: Is TMS still needed for me to use my Ipad to make video calls?

I am trying to decide to upgrade my current VCS to version 8.1.1 or the Expressway 8.1.1 inorder to take advantage of the MRA

No, TMS is not needed if you are using the latest Cisco Jabber for iPad.  Note that this is a different app from the Jabber Video for ipad that is used with VCS.
