Hi,
is there any way to connect Cisco Jabber for Mac with Global LDAP/AD Directory - without needing to copy/import all contacts to my Address Book? (e.g. it is possibe to do it in Cisco Jabber for iPhone)
Thank you for any hint.
Jiri

Hey Jiri,
If the BackEnd Server for Cisco Jabber for MAC is Presence Server (On premises deployment), then you can configure LDAP Server and LDAP Profile on Presence Server, under CUPS Admin Page -> Application -> LDAP Server and
CUPS Admin Page -> Application -> LDAP Profile and then add the users to the profile so that you can then use Cisco Jabber to search and add contacts via AD.
If Call Manager is not doing LDAP Authentication, then we need to make sure that the userid on Call Manager matches the userid on AD, otherwise, we won't be able to chat to those users via Cisco Jabber.
For configuring LDAP on CUPS:
