Cisco Jabber IM for iPhone Authentication

I am having a bit of a bother. I put in the correct credentials and it says either the username or password is wrong or user account is inactive.

I have the latest Presence server 8.6 any suggestions. is there a switch in the precense server that needs to be on?

The format of the username is different from for example Personal Communicator. Check that you're entering not just the usual username but with the domain name on the end too, ie username@domainname.com rather than just username.

Yes that is what I have but it still will not log in. We try to use the UPN everywhere in our company so everyone will be used to the email address as the username.

Username without the domain works fine also. We had the same issue with login. A server restart solved the problem. I didn't take the time to find out which service has to be restarted. I don't say this is the solution to all login issues, but in this case it helped us.
