We have built hunt pilot numbers that ring a section of phones for our different departments. I'd like to add these to our Jabber interface for those handling in-bound calls. I have created the user within Active Directory and sync'd that into Call Manager and added the client. The problem now I see is that someone will have to have that user "logged in" to be able to transfer calls to that extension. Since this is just a holder for the extension group that really isn't feasible. Does anyone know of a way around this or is it something Cisco is looking at? We really need to be able to have non-user contacts so that our users can transfer calls within their softphones without knowing the odd-ball extension numbers.
