contacts on jabber for windows

Dear ,
on jabber software, when we add any contacts that dont have a jabber software, its dont appear with the jabber contacts, but we can search and find them, is this a normal issue

They actually should appear as offline, maybe you can try going on view and enabling show offline contacts.
