I'm VERY new to Cisco Jabber and I'm one of the only ones in my company currently using it - when I try to add a contact the ADD button is greyed out - is this a system setting that needs to be changed by the administrator - or am I doing something wrong?

That sounds like the LDAP is not working, or not configured, and that's something your admin needs to fix.

the ADD button is greyed out until you actually find a person to Add, do your searches have any results or are you not seeing any one to add? In wich case I go with Jaime
