I am currently having issues with Jabber for iPhone. It works fine and the calls come in and out the mobile / cell no problem. However, I cannot access the directory via AD. This works fine on the Jabber PC client. It complains about invalid credentials. We are not using secure ldap 636 just plain 389 so no certs should be needed
The whole cluster is using LDAP for the AD. As mentioned, the standard Jabber desktop can access the directory so we know that is working fine. The AD is nothing to do with us as it belongs to the customer and their local network team.
I need to go back to them and ask for the log files at the time we try and log in on the iPhone but not sure what to look out for!
