Jabber for Android and no domain suffix for for androids

Hi Community.

During the Setup of CUP and CUCM i set the host for Cup to "Cup" and the hostname for cucm to "cucm". Everything is installed and everything is working fine, except jabber for android. Jabber for Android says "can't find Server".

Because the android devices doesn't recognize the Domain Suffix list from the local DHCP Server. Iphones, IPAD, and Windows PC do that.

If i do a ping to "cup" my iphone adds the Suffix "dds.local" and is able to ping the Server, because the Server is listed under dds.local on our DNS Server. But because of the android doesn't recongnize the Domain Suffix list from the local DHCP Server, they where not able to ping just the address "cup".

What should i do, should i rename my Server from Cup to "cup.dds.local" and "cucm.dds.local". Or is there another way.

Thanks and best regards patrick
