Hi,
I have question regarding Jabber for iPad and CUCM 8.6.2. cluster with enabled security mode.
I have cluster with enabled security (mixed mode). For Jabber for iPad I've configured new Phone Security Profile with Device Security Mode - Authenticated. When I assign this security profile to my Jabber on iPad, I cannot register - I get message Failed connect to specified server. When I'm using standard non secure profile, I can register and make a calls. Is it possible using security (TLS, SRTP) with Jabber for iPad and CUCM? What else should by configured?
Thanks

Did you ever get anything on this? I also have the same question about desktop Jabber. I know SRTP is not in Jabber for Windows yet, but it is in Jabber for Mac, but I have not tested it yet.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
no, I didn't get any answer and didn't investigate this anymore (lack of time, other priorities). What experience do you have with Mac Jabber? Video is working?

Hi Mark,
I was looking for same answer and the Data Sheet mentions SRTP/TLS support only for VCS:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps6836/ps12430/data_sheet_c78-704194.html
In Admin guide no mention for a Secure Profile for CUCM only for VCS
Which makes me wonder if using CUCM Jabber can register using TLS (As TLS implementation is different in CUCM than VCS), and also remember that for CUCM, TLS is a requirement to allow SRTP. Will dig more and see if I can get an answer.
