Jabber for Mac 9.6 (latest) - no presence status

 

 

So Windows Jabber is working fine.  Mac Jabber works great other than you cannot see Presence info.  Shows all contacts as offline.  I look at the Connection Status's under the Help menu and it gives me the Server Address of the Presence server as "CUP".   I do not have "CUP" specified anywhere in the jabber-config.xml or manually set the Jabber client up.  It should be  cups01.domain.com.  Whats odd is that is hows its connected to the Presence server.   Image below.

 

Any advice would be great.  Thanks.

Maybe contacts shown on Mac are not comming from AD, Jabber can also show you email client's contacts.

Look for "view profile" for one of the contacts and compare it with the same "view profile" contact on a Windows client, is the IM address the same?

 

Also if the same user that has the issue on the Mac logs into a PC, does he/she experience the same problem?

 

Deleting the contact, emptying the cache, re-opening the client and adding the contact again might help.
