Jabber for Windows and SIP Dialing to VCS Endpoint
I have a user who, due to unforseen circumstances, must work from home. The user has a very important video conference that she would like to participate in from her house. One of the new features in Jabber for Windows 9.6 was the ability to perform SIP dialing, so instantly I thought I might be able to connect her to one of the SIP endpoints registered to the VCS that is in the meeting and have her participate this way.
Could someone attest to this working? And if you have it working, what tricks you had to do to make it work? I already have a SIP trunk between the VCS and CUCM, will I need another Trunk for the IM and Presence server to the VCS to tie this together?
