Jabber gets disconnected when ipad goes to sleep mode

Hi,

I'm looking for some information regarding when users are logged in to Jabber using their VPN on their ipad or iphone , Jabber gets disconnected after few minutes when ipad goes in Sleep mode, so they are not able to receive any calls

I found the following post that talks about the issue and mentioned there is aknown Cisco and Apple bug opened for that .

I wanted to know is there a fix for that yet and also :
