Jabber Guest calling into an Edge 95 MXP - No video

Hello everyone,

Has anyone ever been able to have a successful video call from Jabber Guest to an Edge 95 MXP?

From  what i can tell the odd video format of Jabber Guest is not able to display on an Edge95 MXP when dialing in - these are the stats on i see on each end:

EDGE MXP Codec Side:

Transmit

 Video Protocol: w448p

Audio Protocol: G.722

Video Format: 1280X720

Receive

 Video Protocol: H.264

Audio Protocol: G.722.1

Video Format: OFF

Jabber Guest Side:

Transmit:

Video Protocol: H.264

Resolution: 704X396

Receive:

Video Protocol: H.264

Resolution: 768X448

It seems that the video format from Jabber Guest just isn't compatible with the Edge 95 MXP? Does anyone have any insight on this?

Thank you

Hi

Hi

To further investigate this issue ,could you please provide some detail info?

1.What is your deploy topo for Jabber Guest and Edge 95 MXP? Does Edge 95 MXP register to VCS or CUCM ?

2.Whether "Enable SRTP" is checked on Jabber Guest? If it is checked , try to uncheck it and make Jabber Guest call to Edge 95 MXP.

3. Do you have Jabber in your deployment? if yes ,please try to make Jabber call to Edge 95 MXP.

4."Jabber Guest calling into an Edge 95 MXP - No video" means Jabber Guest can see video from Edge 95 MXP ,but Edge 95 MXP can not see video from Jabber Guest, right?

5.Please send us Jabber Guest log and wireshark trace(When make Jabber Guest call to Edge 95 MXP, capture wireshark trace on Jabber Guest client side)

For Windows, navigate to %HOMEPATH%\Appdata\LocalLow\Cisco\chip. Note %HOMEPATH% is generally of the form 'C:\Users\username’.

For Mac OS X, navigate to ~/Library/"Internet Plug-Ins"/"Cisco Jabber Guest Plug-in.version-number.plugin"/Contents/Frameworks/Logs.

For Chrome on Mac OS X, navigate to ~/Applications/"Cisco Jabber Guest Add-on.version-number"/Contents/Frameworks/Logs
