Jabber Guest calls to a Conductor Rendezvous Conference on a Telepresence Server

Dear Community,

I was just wondering if anyone had come or has experience with the following issue.

All components of the solution are running the newest software versions.

Jabber Guest Server 10.6.12

Expressways X8.8.1

Telepresence Server 4.4

We are trying to connect two Jabber Guests to the same destination, which is a Conductor based rendezvous conference on a Cisco Telepresence Server.

As soon as the second Jabber Guest client connects to the same rendezvous conference configured with a Conference Alias and a Conference Template on the Conductor, we get horrible static noise and no video from or to the Jabber Guest clients.

Is this type of multipoint supported with Jabber Guest clients?

Thank you

Hello Community,

Hello Community,

We managed to fix this issue.

As it turns out, we only had one way audio/video, towards Jabber Guest and not from Jabber Guest to the internal endpoints or multipoint resources.

The issue was the setup of the Jabber Guest neighbor zone towards the Jabber Guest server.

Media encryption mode was set to Auto instead of Best Effort.

After setting the parameter to Best Effort, the Expressway C took the media, and all works as it should.
