But Call Manger 11.0 showing the jabber phone device status Rejected . I don't think any issues in Expressway's . Then why am getting this issue .

Any suggestions ?

Hello Sathish,

Is it connecting when you login into jabber client internally (without having expressway in picture) ?

What status CUCM shows of jabber client when you trying to register it on MRA (with expressway) ? What you see in diagnostics log of Expressway C, is it something like this "SIP/2.0 405 Method Not Allowed" ?

Suresh

Hi Suresh,

Yes I can connect internally without expressway .

The problem is when connecting expressway I am getting issue like softphone not connected .I am pasting the network logs of expressway C .

In CUCM the status shows rejected for jabber client .

Dear, What SIP port on the SIP Trunk Security Profile that is applied to the
existing SIP trunk configured in CUCM and the Expressway−C neighbor zone for CUCM ?

Are you using dual interface at Exp with NATing ? If If EXP-E is behind NAT or firewall, can you confirm that the firewall does not perform any SIP inspection ?

Can you please attach below traces for further analysis ?

Jabber client: Try registering Jabber client over MRA, then pull out  Help -> Report problem

Diagnostic logs of Exp C & E with TCP dump.

Suresh

Hi suresh,

Here are the diagnostic logs of Expressway c and e . I have Default sip trunk for MRA also ..Is that we need special dedicated sip trunk for MRA ?

Is that a sip port issue in CUCM ? I have wasted lots of time in this issue ...

Yes it can be try to change the sip port other than 5060 once.

Attached logs are not complete logs.....First enable tcp dump option on diagnostic page and then login to jabber client and wait for couple of minutes then pull out logs and attach.

Have you verified SIP inspection from network guy on firewall as said above ?

Suresh

Hi suresh,

While adding Unified CM server in Expressway C . I got this warning . May be this port causing the problem .? And for your Information Firewall is disabled.

And I am new to this MRA testing . Its taking lots of time to test .

Connection to port 5061 refused or timed out. SIP secure messages will fail: If the Unified CM server is in Mixed Mode, check that the port is open and accepting connections.

Dear, This is because you are already using 5061 port as a TLS port so try to use other one (e.g. 5065)

For fast troubleshooting you will have to raise TAC case so someone from tac will work dedicatedly for it.

And also I would suggest you to go through below document once and review the configuration and make sure everything is set correctly, as without having complete logs it is difficult to find out the issue.
