Jabber Windows and Lotus Notes - user ID ?

Hi,

We are about to deploy Jabber Windows for a customer with Lotus Notes 8.5.2.

I created a test account in CUCM/Presence with a userID "userA".

But in order to test the application on customer's workstation, I had named account to both Windows and Lotus Notes. As a result, LN userID was different than "userA".

As a result, I can't see my calendar entries in Jabber whereas I checked "Calendar integration LN" in Jabber. Moreover I don't have a pop-up windows asking for LN password neither.

Do you know if the userID entered in Jabber client is used / checked against LN client ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

To my knowledge it's checked against AD if this is your LDAP integration, but if LN uses the Lotus Single SignOn service to verify LN login you should be safe to go

Jabber Windows and Lotus Notes - user ID ?

Thanks for your answer Per !

The thing is that my Jabber userID is different from LN.

Actually, for some reasons hard to explain in few words, the CUCM userID is the E.164 number, whereas LN uses Windows userID (password is set manually per mailbox account in LN).

I will check whether there is something interesting in Jabber logs and share the findings if any.

Sebastien
