Jabber wont search outlook contacts

Our environment has approximately 1600 daily users of Jabber (appx 7500 possible).  Of the 1600 I've got two who have reported to me that they are unable to search for their outlook contacts via jabber.   I've seen a smiliar problem with others, but it's usually just incredibly slow, but eventually connects and searches.  These users typically can be corrected by a quick reset of their machine, followed by starting outlook prior to starting Jabber.  The two in question, are not so lucky.

Our environment uses mainly Windows 7, Office 2k10 or 2k13. Jabber version for the latest affected user is 11.6.3.

Troubleshooting steps tried:

Reinstall Jabber (Clearing all possible temp files associated).

Reinstall Office (Clearing all possible temp files associated).

Verified user's AD credentials, mail settings, etc with our internal messaging team.

Had another local user sign in on the machine, other user is able to search for contacts normally.

Short of opening a TAC Case and troubling this user, I was hoping others might have seen a similar issue.
