jpegPhoto using UDS?

I would like to clarify that when configuring UDS as the directory in jabber-config.xml it is NOT possible to use the ldap attribute jpegPhoto?  I don't store our user photos in active directory, only ldap and they aren't served via html  so before making them available via a URL I want to clarify.

Thanks

Hi

Yes - UDS = no direct LDAP from Jabber... so no ability to retrieve the jpegPhoto att.

A fairly small number of attributes make it into the CUCM DB, and jpegPhoto isn't one.

Is it possbile to use jpegPhoto from ldap directly when configuring EDI?  All of our company user data is stored in LDAP so I'd like to pull the photos from there, not AD.

What LDAP do you have, if not AD?

It should be easy enough for you to set up a test.... as long as your LDAP setup is a Jabber-supported one and the jpegPhoto attribute contains the data that Jabber expects I would imagine it would work.

I'll change the jabber-config.xml and see how it goes.

I used the config generator to try and get jabber-config.xml generated correctly, here is the file I'm using:

Here is the debug from my LDAP server:

why is it looking for capabilities if I've defined them in config file?
