Please be advised that presentation or file sharing is not supported on Jabber client connected over MRA. Please see the guide in the link below:

http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs/config_guide/X8-7/Mobile-Remote-Access-via-VCS-Deployment-Guide-X8-7.pdf

page 38.

It says it is supported for IM and Presence 10.5.2 and later.

Kindly cross check.

I get this update from Cisco TAC but I have no idea maybe you can open case referring this information.

I got the fix.

We need to add an url to the Expressway C http whitelist.

What for white list ? CUCM or IM&P

Can you able to file sharing now via MRA

Add a URL to my Expressway-C http whitelist to allow MFT externally. Allowed methods: POST.

Yes i can do.It is working fine now.

Why do you add below url using 7336 ?

My CUP server already added on the whitelist with auto configured as below

Do I need to add it again seperately ?

HTTP server allow list
You are here: Configuration Unified Communications HTTP server allow list
Success: Saved
Address Type
192.168.100.23 ucxn
cuc.xxx.local ucxn
imp1.xxx.local cup
192.168.100.22 cup
ucm-pub.xxx.local cucm
192.168.100.20 cucm
cpsub.xxx.local cucm
192.168.100.21 cucm

1.If your deployment is MRA and you are using MFT .

2.If you can share file from internal jabber client and external jabber  client can succesfully download this file .

You can see event logs in Expressway C .

Access Denied Reason : No match in http allow list.

If you cant send file from an internal client there is some other issue you are facing.

Yes you need to allow this url in editable http whitelist with FQDN of Presence as i mentioned in previous comment.

Hi,

I faced this issue 2 weeks back when I upgraded the expressway server from 8.7.2 to 8.9 version.

MFT was working fine when before the upgrade without adding the whitelist.

I think Cisco need to update the document or it's bug they need to realize as this is not mentioned in any expressway document.

Regards,

Raaj

Yes.Hope your issue got fixed.

Im trying to deploy MRA using with Expressway 8.9 and CUCM/IM&P 10.5.2

Everything works fine but desktop sharing does not via MRA .

I also configure BFCP related sip trunk and ucsf device profile.
