Microsoft Outlook 2016 not showing presence status w/ Jabber

Running Jabber 11.8.2 build 50390

In Outlook my status and those of other people do not show.

In my Jabber -> Connection Status under Outlook Address book the address: Outlook (unknown)

If I attempt to IM within Outlook it launches a Jabber chat but its not a live connection.

How do I fix this?  I have looked  at

And the registry settings are correct.

Hi Michael,

Can you map the JID for the user in AD and then try. 

Go to the user in AD and advanced feature set and then map the proxy address field as shown here.

proxy address would be the jabber ID depending on your deployment for e.g. alok.jaiswal@xyz.com or ajaiswal@xyz.com.
