multiple search bases in jabber for mac

Trying to get my jabber-config.xml file to work with both windows and mac. but the BDI searchbase only allows for one container, and not multiple like the windows for jabber client. When will jabber for mac support multiple search containers?

<Directory>

  <DirectoryServerType>EDI</DirectoryServerType>

   <SearchBase1>OU=People,DC=domain,DC=company,DC=com</SearchBase1>

  <SearchBase2>OU=OtherPeople,DC=domani,DC=company,DC=com</SearchBase2>

  <BDIPrimaryServerName>ADSERVER1</BDIPrimaryServerName>

   <BDIServerPort1>3268</BDIServerPort1>

  <BDISecondaryServerName>ADSERVER2</BDISecondaryServerName>

   <BDIServerPort2>3268</BDIServerPort2>

    <BDISearchBase1>OU=People,DC=domain,DC=company,DC=com</BDISearchBase1>

    <BDISearchBase2>OU=OtherPeople,DC=domain,DC=company,DC=com</BDISearchBase2> DOES NOT WORK

</Directory>

Hey David,

Interestingly I just had a similar discussion with Jabber for iPhone team since Jabber for iPhone and Jabber for Mac both uses BDI (Basic Directory Integration).

It seems there is limiation on BDI as it can only support single AD Server hence, no SecondaryServer so most likely the Second Search base won't be valid either.

Only EDI supports multiple AD servers.

Regards,

Jas
