A new user was added but the email was misspelled. So, the username was created with the mispelled email.
After changing the email to appear correct, the username is wrong.
Trying to reset password, the system sends new password to username instead of email address.
Please help. I have tried to delete account and recreate but there is no delete option, only deactivate.

Where are you seeing this? in Call Manager? presence? what version?
If you use LDAP to sync users into CUCM you cant delete them from CUCM, but only from your AD server, which then gets replicated out to CUCM (delete pending), same goes for Presence.
Can you attach a screenshot of what yuou are looking at?

This is in WebEx Connect Administration Tool.
I have circled the username. As you can see it is NOT editable.
Also, there is no option for me to delete the user.
