Old UDS Cache Information in Jabber Client for Windows 9.7(2)

We have recently consolidated IM&P Clusters and associated CUCM servers and have run into an issues whereby Desktop Phone Control stopped working. The issue has been traced down to invalid information contained in the home-uds.xml file located in the Jabber client config cache directory. Deleting the file manually and having the client re-login recreates the file and everything works just fine afterwards.

- Is there any way to cause the Jabber client to refresh this cache file?

- Or does it naturally update itself over time?
