Hi All,
We are receiving the following error message from Outlook when closing (exiting) Jabber:
Outlook Data File: Your Outlook data file cannot be configured.
C:\Users\%Username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\username@domain.com(#).nst
We first started noticing this in the beginning of March.
It is only affecting a handful of users.
OS: Win7x64Ent & Win10x64Ent
Jabber Versions: 11.5.2 through 11.8.2
Office 365 2016 x86 Click-to-Run
A clean rebuild from scratch will sometimes produce this error.
On the Win10 box I just built from scratch, you do not even need to launch Outlook.
You can simply log into Windows, then start Jabber, and exit Jabber.
You will receive the same error every time you exit Jabber, and it will increment the number at the end by one every time.
Two other PCs were freshly imaged with Win7, 365 2013, and upgraded to 365 2016.
Another was a Win10 laptop that has been in use for over a year now, and is also 365 2016, upgraded from 2013.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Chris

Hello shuriken101 ,
First of all quit from Outlook.
Go to:
(C:) (or drive where are your account is) / Users / Your user / AppData (maybe is hidden) / Local / Microsoft / Outlook
There you will see .nst and .ost files of your Outlook account.
Delete all .nst and .xml (for backup reserve create new folder like "Temp files" and copy all .nst and .xml files).
Remember, let the .ost file alone.
Then start Outlook.
Good luck!

Upgrading to 11.8.4 fixed this for us.
