Outlook phone and pic not visible till user searched

Jabber 9.2.4, Outlook 2010.

When Jabber starts it appears that it does not sync Outlook contact info till a user is searched. As you can see in pic below the contact Daniel has no picture and there is no pull down to see mobile phone number.

This user stays in this state till a search is done either on main window or dock.

At that point the fields the pic and mobile number are available. Should this not happen at start up?
