Application Crashes when Video launched

Downloaded the Jabber client today - it loads well.

However when you lauch the video, either via the icon, or try to look at video preferences - the app crashed completely

Also if you leave it idle and a calleague calls - the app immediately crashes completely.

Seems to be a video ussye - do i need to change anything on the MAC preferences.

I'm using the iSight inbuilt camaera
