Bad SSL certificate

Hello Cisco,

Sometimes, when we try to call with Free Jabber to a video room that is registered to our VCSE, the call set-up fails.

When I look the log-file of the VCSE, I can see the following message:

tvcs: Event="Inbound TLS Negotiation Error" Service="SIP" Src-ip="199.19.190.28" Src-port="11433" Dst-ip=[our ip] Dst-port="5061" Detail="sslv3 alert bad certificate" Protocol="TLS" [...]

When the user tries to call again, then the call is set up successfully. Source IP of the Jabber server is the same both times.

Greetings and best regards,

Marko Laurits

Hi MarkoWe had this problem

Hi Marko

We had this problem to. Now we have the solution.

Create a new CSR on the VCS-E. Let sign the cert on your authorithy. The file we have with the Public key. We expand the publickey file with the Primary Intermediate CA Certificate and Secondary Intermediate CA Certificate key from the cert authorithy. Load this file to the VCS-E and Jabber.com works again.
