Constant problem with Jabber video 4.7 and OSX 10.9.1

Hi,

Jabber Video on mac osx 10.9.1 has problems while tring to connect to the server,

And the connection is slow and regolarly I get errors.

When it works I get a black screen no sound - No VIdeo income, Not receiving audio

I connect to the defult Jabber Video servers

Does anyone have solutions for that?

Hi,

Same problem with jabber 4.7 and mac OS 10.9.1, it rings a few times then I got -"call denied"

If I use jabber 4.6 it works but the webcam is not available (known bug fixed by 4.7)

Does anyone succed with this configuration ?

Does anybody know why the ciscojabbervideo.com site is still distributing the 4.6 client? OS/X Mavericks has been out for over a year now, and 4.6 definitely does not work with some Mac hardware and 10.9.*?

I have heard rumors that this black screen is caused by mishandling of encryption. Disabling encryption may correct the issue.

Yes, that could be the problem ... but I need a encrypted connection because of the security policy of the partner company so this workaround doesn't help me.

Is a new version/fix of Cisco Jabber for Mac announced? Do you know a possible date?

Unfortunately I don't have a lead on the release of a new version, but this has been escalated by several different sources. Could you share the version your VCS is running, as well as the remote site if you have that info?

Our VCS version is x6.1 and there is no way to update it right now.

Upgradign to Maverickshas broken this app on my MAC too. Would love to see an update that fixes this ASAP.
