Jabber 4.7 not working right

I upgrade several Jabber Video applications to 4.7 to work with Maverick 10.x.x, after the update I realize that every H323 call fail, sip calls work fine. Is there any way to fix the issue?

Hi Gerardo,

If you are referring to the @jabber.com service, your H.323 endpoints need to be registered to a gatekeeper/call manager.  This is to handle the SIP URI dialing format.  Otherwise, direct IP dialing will not work.

Your gatekeeper would also need a valid certificate for TLS negotiation, which can be found here:

there are 3 ways to dial using Jabber Video for TelePresence

1) abc@domain.com

2)10.10.xx.xx

3) 9999 (or any other extension)

well option 3 doesn't want to work with JVTP V4.7 and Maverick OS 10.X.X and is the solution I'm asking for. Options 1 & 2 works fine.

Hi Geragal67,

This all depends on what service you are using.  If you are using the free @jabber.com service, then this feature you refer to is not supported.  If your client is registered to some other service or your internal VCS, then this is not the correct forum for you.  My suggestion is to call Cisco TAC to get support on this issue.
