no video no audio

Installed Jabber on my windows 7  connected to the internet home connection  ( 50mb down / 5 mb up )

I can call people and they can call me.  Unfortunately it is one way  audio and video.  People see and hear me.

I get a message  No audio and No video.

Firewall on PC shutdown.

On the quick setup all is working perfectly..

Any hints?

Hi Frank,

Have you checked to see if all your video drivers are current? You will need to go to the video card manufactures site to get the latest firmware. For example, the manufactures could be ATI, Nvidia or you may have an integrated video card.

Make sure that you can do a self-view to verify that the video is displayed properly.

At the quick setup I can see myself and see audio as well.

Any other hints?

Hi Frank,

   Have the remote end verify their settings as well.  it is possible the remote end is blocking their audio/video.
