When we attempt to log in, we always get presented with the error message "Login failed due to registration failure" (after the system contacts the boot server, it hangs for a while when it's attempting to register with the proxy before it returns to this error message).
I suspect this has something to do with the firewall.
Since Jabber is supposed to use XMMP, we have allowed outgoing traffic for ports 5222/TCP (xmmp-client), 5223/TCP (xmmp-ssl) and 5269/TCP (xmmp-server) on the ASA. This has not helped.
Can you please provide us with a list of ports and/or protocols needed by the Jabber client?
