How are you led to believe that you have a throughput issue. Possibly you may not have enough traffic to flood a 10Gig link? But if you believe that you have an issue then you can check the basics (errors on ports, check process cpu and process memery on the switch. Check any flow traffic throught he layer 3 interface(s). Check for any abnormalities within the switch (Logged events, etc..)....
