1000v connection problem to vCenter - How do I register the Nexus .XML via the VMWare MOB?

Hello All,

I've been struggling with installing Nexus 1000V (Nexus1000v.4.2.1.SV2.2.3) into ESXi 5.5.

So, I've installed the VSM, I can connect to that, no problem.

When I try and connect the VSM to vCenter I get this error message:

ERROR: [VMWARE-VIM] Extension key was not registered before its use.

I know why I get this error message!!!

It's because the XML from the VSM needs registering into vCenter. I've logged into the MOB via the vCenter server but I cannot work out how to input the XML content into vCenter.

My do I register this XML into vCenter via the MOB so I can 'connect' the VSM to vCenter?????

This is my home lab by the way.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

Also, I've googled this, tried many things, rebuilt my lab, I've tried for a while now but I just cannot work it out for myself.

Thank you :-)
