10G interface massive amounts of output drops during testing
Using an Agilent 10G tester, we are seeing asymetric traffic pathing on failing in an environment with 2xDual-6500 distros to Layer 3 core, Layer 2 down to access. When failing to our backup distributions, we see about 9.2GBPS (expected) in one direction, but between 6.5-7.5GBPS in the other direction. We have narrowed it down to a port on the L3 core that is showing massive amounts of output drops. We also have QOS deployed, but with it removed from the interface we are still seeing the drops. When we switch the 10G module to another slot in the 6500 chassis (down to slot 9 from slot 1) we are seeing no problems. The original configuration has 10G coming/going from blade 2 and blade 1. Any help much appreciated.
