2 Masters in 1 3750 stack

Anyone ever see this? Two master switches in a single stack, operating the same IOS .bin file. The cables are correctly connected, firmly but the two stacks don't see each other.

Is in happening in production, sooner the help the better.

If the 2 stacks do not see each other I can only believe that either the cables are not correctly connected or that the cables are faulty.

I have verified the cables being plugged in correctly, and they the same cables I just used in test succesfully, so no luck there.

Do you know if you can force a stack master election, without rebooting anything?

you may have done something like this accidently.

•Removing powered-on stack members causes the switch stack to divide (partition) into two or more switch stacks, each with the same configuration. This can cause an IP address configuration conflict in your network. If you want the switch stacks to remain separate, change the IP address or addresses of the newly created switch stacks.
