2503 password recovery -Console port error

Hi,

I have problem doing password recovery for my 2503 router. I can connect to the console port via cisco console cable with hyperterminal but after get all the boot-up mesg and load the IOS. I can't type anything but if I can to AUX port, I can type any command. I tried to follow cisco password recovery procedure for 2500. yes i can send break using the console port but I can't type anything after that.

Is there any other option for me to do the password recovery?
