2801 WAN and LAN with the FE ports

Hi,

how can i configure a 2801 router without wic modules?

I want configure fe0/0 as WAN and fe0/1 as LAN with dhcp server.

is it  possible  without hwic module?

Of course it is possible, you need to check with your ISP about the proper config on the wan interface "static IP/dhcp, duplex,speed,..."
And for your lan interface, just configure the lan IP address with dhcp pool and thats it

hi,

yes, it's possible. just make sure you've got an ethernet handoff from ISP.

you'll just need to assign each interface with proper IP addresses: public IP address on the WAN and private IP for the LAN.
