upgrading a 2851 and adding Callmanager Express files to a brand new 2851. I've tried various connections between the router and my laptop (Gig NIC) to transfer files via TFTP and it is unbelievably slow. I've tried different TFTP servers, directly connecting to the router (crossover) ... all to no avail. Am I missing something? Why is it transferring so slow? I have no problems whatsoever with all other connections from my laptop. Help.

Thanks for the rating. Can you tell me what Bootstrap version did you upgrade to?
Bootstrap 12.4(13r).T5 can be found here:
It's described as "Enhancement for device access in certain Cisco routers." and released on 06-Oct-2008.

Actually, it was this one:
C2800NM_RM2.srec.124-13r.T6
Release Date: 06/Oct/2008
C2800 ROMMON Upgrade: DRAM access optimization
Size: 1585.15 KB (1623191 bytes)
Solved the problems I was having 100%.

Indeed it did. Thanks for your part in helping out.
(incidentally, I'm an EDS alumnus, 1989-1994, so a kind regards in that respect as well...)
