2950/4500 rspan fun!

I am having a little problem with 2950s and rspan. I wuld like to replace them with something a little newer, but that's not going to happen!

Basically I need to have two rspan sessions running. Both are ultimately to a 3750,

I have:

3750-4506-2950A-2950B

I have two rspan VLANs - 777 and 778.

I have two separate sources, one on 2950A and one on 2950B

The first 2950 rspan session (sourced at 2950A) is fine.

The second is proving rather troublesome. I am not seeing the traffic I expect to see. What I am seeing could be in line with the unused port type visibility - lots of broad/multicast, some unicast. Nothing from the device I am interested in.

Is there any restriction on either 4500/SUPV or 2950 carrying more than one RSPAN VLAN?

When I remove the monitor source, traffic drops to zero out of the destination interface.

sh mon sess all

Session 1

---------

Type              : Remote Source Session

Source Ports      :

     Both          : Fa0/38

Reflector Port    : Fa0/31

Dest RSPAN VLAN   : 778

sh int status

Thanks for any ideas,

Paul.
